Ogden Bears - Pop Warner Little Scholars

This Ogden Bears Junior Midget team coached by Rob Bennedetto, Dan Ryan, Brian Gauthier and Rob Scuteri had a Regular season record of 6 Wins and 0 Losses including a scrimmage game played at Aquinas which they won 28-0, and an overall record of 7 Wins and 1 Loss. They were the TOMLIN DIVISION CHAMPS, and the 1st ever Ogden team to go undefeated during the regular season. This team outscored their opponents during the regular season 117-24, including two shut-outs and only allowing more than one score only once during the regular season. This teams run came to an end their first playoff game which was played on the turf at West Irondequoit High School, they lost to a tough Chili team (that they had previously beaten) on a cold and extrememly windy November day. The wind, a costly turnover and a power running game got the best of them on that November day. The team went on to play in the Redmen Classic Bowl Game against a very good Horsham Hawks team out of Pennsylvania - Ogden defeated them 20-12 to end their season. This team was not only well coached but was also built out of character and discipline - these kids and staff were nothing short of a class act.
